The Knights of Columbus is
an active, church-oriented organization which
practices its creed of Fraternity, Unity,

joy of Knighthood for the first time here.
Our social and spiritual
programs provide an opportunity for men and
women of the parish to get to know one another
better. They include the annual Golf Outing for
the parish and the community in general, dinner
dances, a Memorial Mass for the deceased
members, a Parish Christmas Dinner Dance,
Tootsie Roll Drive for the benefit of
exceptional children, and Clergy Night, a
Communion Breakfast, as well as many other
socials and get-togethers for our members, their

Project Hunger
3rd Weekend, After All Masses
Main Church Sanctuary
A food collection for the
poor is held on the third weekend of every month
after all masses. Volunteers stand at the
entrances of the church to receive food and
donations for this cause. Foods most needed are
cereal, rice, beans, tomato sauce, peanut
butter, sugar, paper goods, washing detergent,
soap, flour, canned vegetables, coffee, canned
fruit, and jars of baby food. On the following
Mondays, volunteers pack the received food into
vehicles and transport it to Our Lady of
Guadalupe for distribution to needy families of
the Mission Church. On the fourth weekend of the
month, the amount of food collected and the
total donations received are posted in the
bulletin.
Our
Lady's Rosary Makers
Our Lady's Rosary Makers of
Prince of Peace invite parishioners, men and
women, to join them in making rosaries to pray
for world peace. The rosaries are distributed to
the missions, the needy, the sick, to prisons,
and to other ministries. They are all made at
your home at your pace.

Club was started on June 26, 1991 in response to
numerous requests made by single parishioners.
Our purpose is to provide the singles of the
parish a safe social atmosphere of well-being
and spiritual happiness, and an opportunity to
make new friends while having fun.
The Processors
We consist of three teams
of seven, and we process the Sunday collection.
We make sure that each envelope has the amount
within written legibly on it. Money is wrapped
and envelopes filed for computer calculation.
The processors, in unison, say: Do not bend,
staple, or tape your collection envelopes!

screen in the Conesa Hall. The movie schedule is

Council of Catholic Women
The Prince of Peace Council
of Catholic Women was established to unite all women of the
parish in religious, social, and educational
activities. The Council offers programs throughout
the year. The activity of the Council
includes a Christmas party and
participation in the activities of the State,
National and International Council of Catholic
Women. Through the many
hours given and talents shared, the
ladies of the Council of Catholic Women attempt to answer many of
today's concerns. Charitable donations made by
the Council are funded in a variety of projects
such as the monthly card party,
which is held on the second Wednesday of each
month. This offers a pleasant afternoon to all members
and guests of many faiths, and continues throughout the year.

about the Council. 634-2328 |
