Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist (Home)
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in taking Holy Communion to our members who live in area assisted living facilities, nursing homes, retirement residences, private homes and South Bay Hospital who are unable to attend Mass. Volunteers are guided through a training session, so they are well prepared to offer this service of Our Lord. Please leave your name and phone number at the church office if you, a relative or a friend, would like to receive Holy Communion at home or an assisted living facility.

Life’s Challenges Support Group
The purpose of the Life’s Challenges Support Group is to help our parishioners resolve their problems with children, family, or friends by sharing with others and receiving support. All are welcome free of charge and in full confidence. The facilitators are Frank Koebrich, an experienced therapist, and Sr. Rosalie Hennessey, a former counselor.

Visitation
Our purpose is to provide visits to the homebound and lonely in Prince of Peace parish. Requests for visits are made to the church office. Our visiting ministers are given guidelines to follow. They are screened and fingerprinted as required by the church.
Visits are usually once a week or as requested by the homebound. Conversations are confidential. Any concerns that need to be addressed are reported to the church.
Ministers take bulletins, cards, rosaries, and information cards listing assistance available in Sun City Center. Our visits are a simple thing to help the homebound feel a part of our parish family.
