Baptism
As the first of three sacraments of initiation in the Catholic Church, Baptism cleanses the mark of original sin from the soul.
For more information on Baptism, infant Baptism, and entering the Catholic Church please contact the parish office by telephone at (813) 634-2328.
Reconciliation
Reconciliation, also known as The Sacrament of Confession is a special grace we receive as Catholics. Being able to seek forgiveness from God for our sins prepares us to receive the Eucharist at Mass.
Confession Times:
Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Anointing of the Sick
The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is typically reserved for Catholic’s who are sick, dying, or near death. The recipient is anointed with Holy Oils as confession is made and prayers for healing are said.
Anointing of the Sick is held on the first Monday of each month during 8:00 am mass.
Holy Matrimony
Marriage, or the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony is a symbol of one’s giving of themselves completely to the other. It is a sacred union between the husband and wife, and God.
Convalidation (sometimes referred to as validation) can be performed in instances in which a couple who is civilly married acknowledges that they are not in a valid marriage and seeks to regularize their union within the Church. If you are planning on a wedding, or wish to convalidate an existing civil marriage, please contact the parish office by telephone at (813) 634-2328.
