The Regina Caeli Prayer: English & Latin
Just like the Salve Regina, the Church traditionally sings the Regina Caeli in Latin, the Sacred Language of the Church. For your spiritual benefit, please find below both English & Latin versions of this powerful prayer. Strive to pray this powerful prayer in place of the Angelus at:
6am (if you're up), 12pm, and 6pm.
From EWTN: This is one of four Marian antiphons, with following versicles and prayers, traditionally said or sung after night prayer, immediately before going to sleep. It is said throughout Eastertide. (That is, from Easter Day through Pentecost, the seventh Sunday after Easter.)
The Regina Caeli is also said in place of the Angelus during Eastertide.
